Visceral, evocative, and so wholly engrossing, SWBtS deftly tackles complex characters and weaves their stories into a rich landscape and intricate narrative. My goodness — and the prose is so gorgeous, regaling the reader with lush and vivid scenery and dialogue for complete immersion. I truly loved this book and am nervous and excited for where the next installment takes the characters and story.
